So I recently watched Let The Right One In, or Låt den rätte komma in, as it is known in Sweden and it absolutely blew me away.

The tagline of the film is, “Oscar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl who turns out to be a vampire.”

Now from a description like that it’s easy to be put off,

but it’s simply impossible to sum up this movie in words, you just have to watch it. It is set in Sweden in a bitter winter which is emphasised through the beautiful cinematography. The film takes you in every direction emotionally, it’s dark, moving, disturbing, powerful, funny and the acting spot on.

Definitely straight in to my top 5 and that is saying a lot, watch it!
